What Types of Tree Survey Are Available in Bacup?
Three survey types are available in Bacup: Tree Condition Reports for general health assessment, Mortgage Tree Reports for lender requirements, and BS5837 surveys for planning applications.
Tree Condition Reports (TCR)
A Tree Condition Report assesses the health, structural stability and risk level of individual trees. Homeowners, landlords and insurers request this report to identify hazards before they cause damage or injury.
Mortgage Tree Reports (MTR)
A Mortgage Tree Report is required when a lender's valuation identifies trees within influence distance of the property. The report satisfies major UK lender requirements before mortgage funds release.
BS5837 Tree Surveys
A BS5837 survey categorises every tree on site by quality and value, sets root protection areas and produces a tree constraints plan. Rossendale Council requires this survey for planning applications affecting trees.
